Golf Section Days
Our golf section days with competitions and haggles start in the morning and are on the following days:
Wednesday Business House
A 16-week team series running October – March, Wednesdays at 5:30pm (with a Christmas/New Year break). Mixed formats, weekly prizes and great social networking. Contact the golf shop for entry details.
Friday Twilight
A relaxed summer stableford competition every Friday, tee-off 4:30pm–5:30pm from the start of daylight savings. Open to all, with prizes and clubhouse hospitality after play.

2027 Barfoot & Thompson Bay of Plenty 5 Course Classic

Fairview Golf & Country Club is proud to join the Barfoot & Thompson Bay of Plenty 5 Course Classic in 2027.
Now in its 32nd year, the Classic brings together more than 350 golfers from New Zealand and overseas for five rounds across five outstanding Bay of Plenty courses: Fairview, Mount Maunganui, Omanu, Omokoroa and Tauranga.
Players will enjoy daily Stableford competition, live scoring and an extensive prize pool valued at more than $24,000. New for 2027 is an Overall Gross Championship.
Entry fees
Early Bird: $460 per player when entered before 1 October 2026
Standard Entry: $510 per player from 1 October 2026
Host Club Members: $360 per player
